During the last quarter, Grupo Nutresa was proud to inaugurate the solar roof at its Rionegro plant. This will produce 15% of the energy needed for its operations. The company also met its 2020 greenhouse gas reduction goal ahead of schedule.
The plants also show a significant reduction in water consumption per ton produced, in addition to the development of new carbon-neutral subsidiaries in Costa Rica. Environmental sustainability is a priority for the company, both nationally and internationally.
