In June 2022, real retail sales increased 17.2% and the number of employees grew 4.6% compared to the same month in 2021. Excluding fuel sales, the sector's real sales growth was 17.1%. Comparing the results for June 2022 with those for June 2019 shows a 25.6% increase in retail sales and a 0.8% decrease in the number of employees.
